To whom it may concern:

I`m writing this letter to make a complaint against one of your company`s products, "0708 NITRO Magnum 168." I`m Min, Shin Hong from South Korea who has been snowboarding for the last 7years and I came to purchase this specific board after I was recommended by a re-seller in Korea. At the point of purchase, I was told that this board is sturdy and intact that there would be no need to fear the accidental damage to the board itself while riding on it unless someone actually tried to break it in half. Despite all these assurances, the board did break in half when I was simply riding it, resulting not only in physical injuries but also some personal inconveniences due to an unexpected accident.

To tell the story from the very beginning, I did have to make an exchange after I received the product by mail. I found a horizontal crack along the tech nose part and before even riding on it. I had to get a different one already. Soon enough, the second one arrived by mail and this one didn`t seem to have the crack (or at least I couldn`t find any obvious deficiencies with my bare eyes.) So I gave this one a try.

On January 17th 2009, as I was snowboarding down the slope, I felt that there was something wrong with my board, and before I knew, the board broke in half and I was thrown into a fence nearby. I ended up cutting my skin around my neck very badly (which I have the pictures to prove), and the doctor told me that I was very lucky for being still alive. After I pulled myself together and got over a slight mental trauma, I examined my board on the part where it had broken itself, and as I had expected, it was exactly along the horizontal crack that I found on my first one.

With all the evidences that I had, though not that many as they may be, I contacted, "Choi, Ju Ho" the director of Korea`s official importing company, Koorong Sports. I thoroughly explained everything about this incident and in the end he agreed with my opinion that it is important to notify the NITRO`s headquarters about the safety issues with this board. I was again assured by the Koorong Sports just like the time when I purchased this board, and as you might have guessed, now I`m here writing this letter because the Koorong Sports disappointed me again with their poor customer service, by not taking any actions at all regarding my issues.

Instead, Choi, Ju Ho, the director, had told me that I need to file a law suit against the company if I wanted any compensation for what happened, and as you know the procedures involved in filing a lawsuit cannot be easier especially when you`re facing a huge corporation. Therefore, I, a puny customer have no choice but to le my situation known to NITRO and ask for your generous opinion. Should I be treated the same way as I had been treated by Koorong Sports, then I have no more opinions but to start a boycott against your products and let my story be spread throughout the internet with my picture of injuries. So I beg you to listen. Everything that I have said here is no exaggeration but the only facts themselves, not to mention that none of them were made up to make it sound more reasonable. My contact information is left on the bottom and due to my short English skills, I prefer talking to someone in Korean to fully explain my situation. Thank you very much for your attention and I hope to hear from you soon.

Sincerely yours,
Min, Shin Hong
